Upcoming Projects

February is shaping up to be quite a busy month -

I just finished up a big band arrangement for Stefon Harris, expanding the 8-horn chart I did for him on his song Ellison's Song this past summer. I'm hoping he gets a chance to use it in a couple of weeks with the Airmen of Note at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.

Up next is a new chart for maestro Charlton Singleton & the Charleston Jazz Orchestra on Herbie Hancock's Driftin'. This will be for their Herbie tribute concert Maiden Voyage next month.

Another project-in-progress is a set of pops orchestra arrangements for former American Idol finalist Syesha Mercado with the Sarasota Orchestra for a performance later this spring.

Soon after that I'll be arranging a piano trio album for Alessandro Colarossi... and a host of other projects.

Thankful to be this busy writing music!
